John and Ilona Swenson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 16. They were married in the Idaho Falls, Idaho. The couple retired and built their home in Payson in 2000.
John and Ilona Swenson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 16. They were married in the Idaho Falls, Idaho. The couple retired and built their home in Payson in 2000. In their spare time John is involved with Boy Scouting, CERT, the Radio Club, and is active in their church; Ilona volunteers with Senior Circle, and is on the Activities Committee in their church. Their four children, along with their respective spouses, four granddaughters, seven grandsons, and two great-grandsons helped them celebrate with their friends Aug. 16 in the cultural hall of the Payson Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
