Wedding

Gellerman and Hummer

Elysha Hummer, formerly of Payson, married Joseph Gellerman of Maple Grove, Minn. Oct. 4, 2008 in Brainerd, Minn. The bride is the daughter of Debbie and Greg Schloesser and Don and Robyn Hummer. She attended St. Mary’s University and St. Cloud University. She is currently employed by the English department at St. Cloud State University, where she is working on a master’s degree. The groom is the son of Ron and JoAnna Gellerman and attended Anoka-Hennipin College. He is employed as superintendent of Legacy Courses at Craguns. His golf course was recently rated five stars. The couple’s wedding party included honor attendants Sarah Hummer and Brandon Purdy; bridesmaids Sara Rojas, Katherine Hengel, Rebecca Klima, Heather Klima and groomsmen: Ron Gellerman, Jason Howell, Adam Murrow, Shawn Bowers. Also in the wedding party were Jessica Gellerman, personal attendant; Mariah Hummer, flower girl; and Charles Gellerman and Samuel Gellerman, ring bearers. They honeymooned on Isle Royale and will make their home in Merrifield, Minn.

Anniversary

Scott

The children and grandchildren of W.A. and Janet Scott of Payson invite the couple’s friends and neighbors to help them celebrate their golden anniversary at an open house reception from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Payson Elks Lodge, 1206 N. Beeline Highway. Mr. and Mrs. Scott were married Nov. 22, 1958 in Gallup, N.M. Mr. Scott retired in 1995 after 34 years of service with the Tonto National Forest, where he was the construction and maintenance supervisor. He also served as a corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958. Mrs. Scott retired in 1997 from the Payson Unified School District after 10 years of service. The couple’s children include Janna L. Scott-Reese; William A. Scott; Nancy A. Scott; Maj. Michaelene F. Scott and husband, David Medlock; Louis H. Scott and wife, Raquel; and Lt. Tim Scott and wife, Diane. The couple has eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
