John and Donna Mortis of Blue Ridge, will mark their Golden Anniversary with a family reunion hosted by their three daughters, Debbie Beever, Laurie Watson and Natalie Chavez. The party will be Nov. 1 in Blue Ridge, and include five generations of the family including the couple’s daughters; grandchildren, Aubrian, Michael, Emily and Christina; great-grandchildren, Seth, Alice, Joshua, Isobel and Alexis; and Mrs. Mortis’ mother, Rita Willis. Relatives and friends traveling from throughout the country to celebrate with them will also join the family. John and Donna Mortis were married Nov. 1, 1958 in Bangor, Maine and are retired from the military.
