Dewey William Sweatt and Willadean (Pruett) Sweatt

Dewey William Sweatt and Willadean (Pruett) Sweatt celebrated 55 years of marriage March 21, 2009. They were married at the Wedding Chapel in Phoenix, Ariz., March 21, 1954. The groom was 20 and his bride was 16. Mrs. Sweatt was born and raised in Phoenix and Mr. Sweatt was raised in Cordova, Ala. They have three children and they currently have 13 grandchildren and 16 and one-half (due soon) great-grandchildren

Mathew Butler and Llinnea Leas were married by the Justice of the Peace Feb. 16, 2009 in Jacksonville, N.C. The couple are planning a formal wedding for fall of 2010 (depending on military orders).

Falecia Padilla and Carlos Davila

Falecia Padilla and Carlos Davila were wed March 28, 2009. The bride is the daughter of Annette Padilla Madson. The groom is the son of Orlando and Andrea Davila. The couple will honeymoon after the groom returns from special training with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Brittany Nicole Moore and Branden Patrick Echols

Mike and Donna Moore of Payson announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Nicole Moore, to Branden Patrick Echols, also of Payson. The couple will be married at Chaparral Pines in April. Brittany and Branden are both graduates of Payson High School. Following graduation, they attended Yavapai Community College in Prescott. The bride-elect will be pursuing a degree in cosmetology. The prospective groom is currently employed by Arizona Public Service in Payson. The newlyweds will honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico and make their home in Payson.
