Stoll and Walden
Melissa Joy Stoll and Taylor Gene Walden were married June 28, 2009 in San Diego. The Payson couple are the children of Mike and Mary Stoll and Pam Devoe and Donny Walden. Attending the couple at their wedding were Nichole Chabot, maid of honor; John Ceja, best man; bridesmaids, Jadyn Walden, Yara Luis and Chelsey Gilmore; groomsmen, Hunter Walden, Chase Walden and Nate Acord; and flower girls Cambree and Brittlee Harper. Officiating at the service were Donovan Christian and Mike Stoll. The groom is employed by Intermountain West and the bride works for Rim Country Wireless and is pursuing a singing career.
Keith and Marlene Nielsen of Payson will celebrate 60 years of marriage on Aug. 13. The couple was married Aug. 13, 1949 in Silver City, Iowa. The Nebraska natives moved to Colorado in 1955 to raise their family and in 1984 moved to Long Beach, Calif. They have lived in Payson since 1997 and are active in the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church. The couple has two children, Corinne Myers and Rick Nielsen, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Before retiring, Keith worked as a salesman, restaurant cook and locksmith. Marlene was a homemaker and active in volunteer service.
