Stokes and Weeks
Ron and Cindy Weeks of Payson and Lurinda Stokes of Scottsdale are pleased to announce the marriage of their children, Amanda Weeks and Brent Stokes. Amanda is a 1998 graduate of Payson High School and a 2002 graduate of Northern Arizona University. Brent graduated from Chaparral High School in Scottsdale and is a 1996 graduate from ASU. They were married on April 11, 2009 at the Desert Botanical Garden exactly two years from when they first met. Amanda’s attendants were Emily Wilson, Karen Fanning, Gina (Hageman) Brooks, Shana (Moores) Dunagan and Shana’s daughter, Kalista Dunagan was flower girl. Amanda is employed at Healthways as a marketing manager and Brent is employed at Caremark as a senior product analyst. They are making their home in Chandler.
Phillimore and Montijo
Deidre Montijo and Jason Phillimore, both of Payson, Ariz., have announced their engagement. The couple plans to marry May 1, 2010 in Sedona, Ariz.
Leblanc and Wholly
Bailey Dawn Wholly, the daughter of Roger and Kim Wholly of Payson, will be married June 20 at the LDS Stake Center of Payson. The prospective groom is Jacob Enos Leblanc, the son of Janet Ferrin Leblanc of Thatcher, and Denis Leblanc of Mesa. Ms. Wholly is a habilitation therapist with Arion Care Solutions of Thatcher, where both she and Mr. Leblanc reside. She graduated from Payson High School in 2005 and attends Eastern Arizona College. A reception will follow the ceremony at the Payson home of Kristy Ford.
Dixon and Cloudt
Cherie Cloudt of Ruidoso, N.M., the daughter of Jean Cloudt of Payson, married Charles Dixon May 30, 2009 at Bonito Creek, N.M. The groom is the son of Kenneth and LaNita Dixon and is originally from Elida, N.M. The couple will divide their time at homes in Ruidoso and Lingo, N.M. In Lingo, Dixon is the chief researcher for Grasslans and Cloudt will be the lead archaeologist for the project. The bride is a 1969 graduate of PHS and the mother of Travis Powell of Payson.
