Here's how to find out.
Hop on a Greyhound bus. Take your time. Get yourself nice and comfortable. Let the bus get going along the highway.
Then see how long it takes to bail out when cockroaches suddenly come out of EVERYWHERE, scampering over the seats, the floors, the walls, the ceiling, and the passengers.
The Reuters article I read about it said:
• "The driver soon pulled over...."
Yes, I imagine he did.
• "And the 48 passengers scuttled off...."
Yes. Yes. I can see that too.
• "...and waited for a replacement vehicle.
"We at Greyhound apologize for this inconvenience and have spoken with each passenger regarding this incident."
How puzzling! What could Greyhound have been thinking about when they decided to talk to the passengers about those roaches?
Two more tiny little comments.
Could Greyhound be suspicious that some nasty old traveler, unhappy with their service, might have done a number of them? My! My! Would people do a thing like that?
I just wanted to ask Pat how safe anyone would have been if he got in the way when she was headed for the exit. :-)
