One reason there is so much medicare fraud is patients are not reading the copies of what is paid for thier care and care they didn't receive. And if they are, they are not reporting it to medicare so the providers just keep on going.
I am as guilty as anyone. I have a large file full of medicare payments that are fraudulent of when my husband was in nursing homes but have not turned them in as I am not in the best of health and can't do the fight.
If anyone can tell me where I can take the papers and dump them to have someone take care of it, it may stop some of the fraud here in Payson and at St. Lukes Hospital in Phx.
Pat, may I suggest you send SOME copies of medicare payments to Attention: President Obama
Include a short cover letter of explanation of your fraud concerns, ask for an official inquiry, and official reply as to the your accusations and the Governments findings. Include in your letter that you have mailed same to CC. (your favorite news media outlets)
