What is the The Rim Country Educational Alliance?
Is it a corporation, LLC, private committee, town dept. or what?
What do you have to do to be a member in this elite group?
Is there any formal or legal paper work that is public information? If not, why not?
Are members chosen by other members, voted on or what?
Where is the money coming from to do all that has been written about?
Anyone want to give a written answer or does anyone know the answers?
Pat, exactly what I have always wondered about too. I would like a public assurance from this Alliance that they have no ownership interest in any of the College property sales or future in-direct development interests that are related to and contingent the college being built. (ex: Hotel/Motel, rental housing, etc.)
Type in Rim Country Alliance in a search. That will take you to their web site. Read carefully, their mission statement on attracting business and employment etc. The College comes second in order of listing.
As of today, this is their listed board of directors:
Steve Drury, Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mary Kastner, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
Jim Lyon, Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Directors
Honorable Dean Martin, Member of the Board of Directors
Judge Ronnie McDaniel, Member of the Board of Directors
James Scott Scheidt, Member of the Board of Directors
