My wife and I, along with another bereaved couple are starting up a chapter of The Compassionate Friends (TCF) here in Payson. The Rim Country Chapter is one of about 600 TCF chapters across the US. It is a national non-profit, self-help support organization for families following the death of a child of any age, from any cause.
We welcome all bereaved parents and their adult family members at our meetings at any time. The group provides a safe place to get together and talk about our children with others who understand.
Our first meeting will be held this coming Tuesday May 8th at 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Ponderosa Baptist Church 1800 N Beeline Hwy in Payson (just south of the Home Depot & the roundabout).
