Why doesn't the town GIVE the new unusable fire station on Tyler Parkway/Rim to the Forest Service. Then the Fire Service can GIVE the town their property for the ASU campus. A trade. I'm sure this is way to easy for our politicians to handle. Definitely an option, though.
Who said the new station is unusable?
All it will take is a property tax increase --- property owners are always good for the money, right?
The college is not supposed to be costing the town any money so why would we give anyone anything?
The college bought land on the N. side of 260 they can start building any time. Evans only has to come up with the $500 million.
I believe the fire station is usable, they need firemen.
Since Evans has met with President Crow again and has a letter why don't we get more details?
There is nothing about any of this in the University newpaper as there was when the article came out about Havasu. That they were having classes this year and Payson was out.
