Question of the week
What is the most important issue in Payson? The economic state of the schools, or the economic state of the county?

A two day bass tournament with 200 contestants is bringing in $683,200.oo to the local economy?
That figures out to $3416. per contestant for two days.
As many as possible will stay in the motels at Roosevelt and Tonto Basin as they will not want to waste time and gas driving to Payson.
They will not leave thier $25,000 and up boats unattended at Roosevelt while they stay in Payson.
They will probably be fishing 8 hrs, and that doesn't leave much time to spend that kind of money.
Even if they come in early to pre fish for a total of 5 days that figures out $683.00 per day.
I think you may need a new estimator.
