I live in Oklahoma now, but here is a scenerio, 6th grade girls BBall game, in between games coach said girls didn't have time to go to locker room to change, had them change in front of everybody (reverse Jerseys) some had on sport bras, reg bras one girl had no bra. Parents are very up set, School board has only given a written reprimand. What do you think?

Unacceptable ! Coach should be replaced with someone with enough common sense to schedule 15 minutes for changing between games and enough morals to respect the embarrassment he or she heaped on adolescent girls. If I were one of the parents, the school board would be hearing from me big time!!!!!!

The coach, atheletic director, principal, superintendent and school board should all be replaced. Sex harassment lawsuit filed? I could go on and on but won't now. Maybe later.

Whoever scheduled the games so tight, whether it be the coach, AD, or Principal, certainly deserves a reprimand. Not knowing the people involved and their past history, I think it's a little tougher to judge. If the coach has an at all questionable history then firing would probably be in line. If it's clean I think the reprimand is appropriate, with the understanding that they will be dismissed for the slightest thing going forward.

And Pat, you're right about the potential for a lawsuit. But I'm not sure that firing the coach would lessen that potential any.

Tim, I didn't say only the coach should be replaced.

I wonder if any photographers were there and took pictures while it was happening? Wouldn't that come under the child pornography laws?

What about ZERO tolerance? When the shoe is on the other foot it is the first thing out of the schools mouth.

There was a story earlier this week where a girl brought prop guns to school to drill with and she was suspended for 10 days and faces possible expulsion. " Marie Morrow, a senior at Cherokee Trail High School senior and a member of the Douglas County Young Marines, was suspended for 10 days after school officials responded to a tip from students and found the plastic duct-taped prop." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=88607

Shovelhead, Read the article and why should an adult that has had safety training and a concealed weapon permit be allowed to take guns and ammo on to a gun free school grounds? Either it is gun free or not.

I wonder if any kids have been kicked out of school for having candy cigarettes on tobacco free school grounds..

from the article.

"In this world there are good guys and there are bad guys. Let's call the good guys law-abiding citizens, and call the bad guys criminals. Law-abiding citizens (often with significant firearms safety training, 1000s of rounds of practice, years of experience, and concealed weapons permits) disarm themselves and lock their firearms in their vehicle prior to entering a gun free school zone. Good guys follow the rules. On the other hand, the criminals don't. That's what makes them criminals; criminals break laws. Before the bad guys at Columbine (13 dead) or Virginia Tech (33 dead) stepped foot onto the gun free school zone, they had already made the decision to break one of our most sacred laws: murder."

He continued, "Want to really protect the children? Want to keep good students from being suspended for having duct taped, prop rifles locked in their vehicles? Eliminate the ineffective, feel-good, gun free school zone laws that only help kill our children."

I don't think I could have explained it any better!
