Question of the week
What is the most important issue in Payson? The economic state of the schools, or the economic state of the county?

There is a new recall in place for Mike Horton. Dave Lyons is recalling Mr. Horton as of 7-28-06. We need to obtain your signatures on a new recall petition from everyone who signed previous to Friday, 7-28-06. Please look for signing booths outside of Bashas & Walmart daily and stop in Class Cleaners from 7:30 to 5:30PM to sign the petition. Our deadline is August 9, 2006 to obtain 1100 signatures in order to recall Horton.

what happens if Kim Pound changes his mind again?
Didn't Anna Mae Deming say on the radio not long ago that Star Valley had a school district and gave the number? Wouldn't that keep the people from Star Valley from voting in a Payson School Board election?

Star Valley is part of PUSD and can vote in school elections. I verified this with our county superintendent, Linda O'dell.
Kim Pound is not recalling Horton any longer. As of Friday, July 28th, Dave Lyons is recalling Horton. Dave's been in the Payson community for 20 years. He managed Safeway for about 16 and is currently Assistant Manager at Walgreens. He and I have owned Class Cleaners for the past 3.5 years. We have 3 children in our schools. A girl in 7th grade, a girl in 5th grade at JRE and a boy in kindergarten at Payson Community Christian School.
