A dear friend to many, Ken (Bodhi) Shelton, was lost early Monday morning, July 27, 2009. While riding his motorcycle, Bodhi and his lady, Julie (Jewels) Jenkins, were hit by an elk on the highway, killing Bodhi and critically injuring Jewels.
Jewels is recovering from multiple surgeries and needs a lot of time to heal.
A benefit for Julie will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Buffalo Bar and Grill. Come hungry, $5 a plate Bar-B-Q all goes to help Julie. The John Scott Band has offered to play music.
An account is also set up at Chase Bank for Julie Jenkins. Donations are greatly appreciated.
