GeoKidz half-day program for children in the first through fifth grades will be held Sept. 15 (also Oct. 28, Nov. 18 and Dec. 9), noon to 4 p.m.
GeoKidz provides a play-based learning environment and natured-centered adventures for elementary aged children. Children are encouraged to explore, build confidence and competence, and rediscover the joy of playing in a natural environment.
This program will include field trips and hikes to various sites in the Payson area, so children are required to bring good sturdy walking shoes. Space is limited, so register your child early. Registration is open through Dec. 3.
The program will be held in Ramada 5 at Rumsey Park, with off-site field trips and hiking. The cost is $15 per day, and all four programs are open to repeat participants.
