Over ride, home rule, Blue Ridge

    May we please have some news on the front page besides the three items above?
    They have been beaten in to the ground.

    Why didn't we hear about the great teachers helping kids informally to get thier home work handed in and attend classes thier freshmen year? How about the years before then?
    Probably weren't doing it then but were passed on to the next grade anyway.
    Possibly the habits were started in the first year they were assigned homework.
    Maybe CPS should be called in to make sure the parents are doing thier part.
    After all isn't it a matter of neglect if you aren't making sure your child is getting a proper education?

    Home rule is not setting a good example.
    If grown, some retired people can not do thier homework and stay in a budget, what can you expect from the kids?

    Seems they still don't know what size pipe or how much water is going to run thru them from Blue Ridge.
