If all the parents that are throwing fits about the President giving a speech he wants all kids to hear would read the textbooks they use they would really be upset.
Or ask your kids about the questions that are asked the kids about thier home life and what goes on with thier parents. Think your privacy isn't being invaded? Think again.
If you are a grand parent get one of the grandkids to bring home a history book and scan thru it.
No I didn't get that idea from the program yesterday.
Mr. Sandoval, before you get on the defensive, maybe it isn't done in the schools up here but it was in Mesa and Gilbert.
Maybe you could tell us about things that are taught or done at the schools here that have nothing to do with reading, writing, and arithmetic. I am not talking about sports, music or art.

Mr Sandoval,
I am surpised. You are usually after me when I post something about schools anywhere.
Wasn't quite what I was expecting.
You do have a sense of humor. (:
Dean,
I think the whole world has gone nuts. I saw that same woman and felt sorry for her and her family. She needs to be locked away somewhere for a long long time.
Didn't she say politics should be taught at home or maybe that was another nut I saw?
I am sure the kids all see Obama on TV and if that is the worse thing they see we will be alright.
There are many worse things they watch. Killings, mutilations, sex, filthy language and that is on the animated so called cartoon programs or the news programs.
You know how old I am and I watch very few new programs. I stick with Mayberry, The Beverly Hillbillies and programs that are at least 20 yrs. old.
All those concerned parents should go sit in the kids classrooms for a few days and see how teachers try to manipulate thier minds on everything from sex to global warning and saving the whales and dolphins.
It is no wonder there are so many kids being home taught or going to charter schools where the parents participate in what is going on.

Dean,
I saw that too. Did you take a good look at the man's eyes and face while they were interviewing him? They have shown it several times.
He is a real nut. He should be watched real close.
He didn't make a direct threat so the law can't do anything. Too bad.
I wonder if he will still be preaching next week or will the church remove him?
He needs to be locked up with Jefferys or whatever his name is.
There are people I dislike intensely but I would never wish or pray for them to be dead.
