Letter to the editor Tuesday's paper.
I don't understand why the lady is upset because the school will not use bond money on artificial turf for sports fields when there are so many more important things the schools need.

Needs is the important word here. Not wants for pretties.

I live near the HS and Rumsey park and don't think I have ever seen or heard of all the present fields being used at the same time.

Most of the times when I go by anytime of the year they are vacant unless a tournament of some kind is being held.

People need to wake up to NEEDS not WANTS.
That is why the schools the town and the country is in so much trouble.

Housing and food before 52 inch TVs, boats and 4 wheelers. Same thing with schools and govt.
    Same concept.

    NEEDS vs. WANTS

There is no bright spot on the financial horizon. The sooner town government understands that, the better for everybody.

I think we're going to have to show them on election day.

How many times is there more than 2 football games at a time?
How many games are played all over that don't have artificial turf?
Football is not a required subject to graduate from HS.
Get on that motorcycle and ride around town.
I am in a really bad mood today ! Behave your self.

$2 million for artificial turf? I'm really happy that the school turned down the installation of artificial turf, and decided to spend the funds on more needed repairs and maintenance. I predict that if Home Rule is not defeated, the schools will reverse their decision and spend millions on such luxuries.
