After reading tonight's paper, I understand all the out cry about homeless kids.
The school district received a $65,000 grant for having homeless kids in school.
So now they have a new employee to look for other homeless kids. If they move to a different area in town they have to be bussed to the orginial school or as the paper says they lose 6 months of academic progress.
I wonder if kids that live in a home with parents and move to a new home in a different area would be bussed back to the original school they were attending.
I don't think kids that are living with loving grandparents or other relatives or friends are homeless..
