Isn't it amazing how politics work?

On the agenda for August 6th there is a first reading to change ordinance 768 to allow mobil storage units.
They are all over town now.
It must be easier to change an ordinace than enforce the ones that have been in effect for years and ignored.

When my son was building his house about 8 yrs ago he was not allowed to use one to store his belongings in while his house was under construction.
BUT less than two miles away the past Chief of Police was allowed to have one.
When I questioned Community Dev. they said we had to have a building permit. We had one already when they refused to let us have the storage unit and they knew it.
Later I filed a complaint on one that was being used as a permanent store room at a house and it is still there 7 yrs later.

I guess the thought is change the ordinance and to he— with the people that had to pay storage on thier belongings for the last however many yrs the ordinance has been in effect.

I don't know how many yrs there have been units at Sawmill Crossing. Guess they will all be legal soon.

There were some people living in one right off 87 until one night I stopped and acted like I was writing something down. They were gone the next day.
