Kelly Watts' S.L.O.P. recipe reminded me of a concoction I came up while in college (NAU) — its a tuna and rice stove-top casserole with the tuna taste toned down by cream of chicken soup.
one box chicken-flavored rice (it was MJB at the time, don't know if it's still around) - make according to directions
one can tuna (drained)
one can cream of chicken soup
when the rice is done, add the drained tuna and condensed soup, combine well, then let sit about 5 minutes (it's a little on the salty side, but that could be addressed by using reduced sodium soup)
serve with a salad or side vegetable
