The U. S. Forest Service has just finished thinning a 300-foot swath behind our home that abuts the national forest. We are very grateful!
Changes are evident, but for the better. We can now see into the arroyo behind our property with a view we didn't believe possible.
The most gratitude we feel, however, is for the diminished possibility of fire. In that acreage, we had too much brush manzanita, scrub oak, and a plethora of baby trees that did not have a chance.
Thank you for letting us tell our Forest Service employees publicly how pleased we are.
