Guest House, Land Split Get Approval Of P&Z


The Payson Planning and Zoning Commission approved a conditional use permit by a vote of 5-2 to allow Gene and Molly Valdini to build a guest house at 1100 W. Remuda Way.

According to the town's Unified Development Code, all property owners must secure a conditional use permit to build any guest house.

The commission also unanimously approved a minor land split for an eight-acre lot at 700 N. Tyler Parkway in the Foothills East Subdivision. The lot was split into two, four-acre parcels.

These items will appear on a future Town Council agenda for final action.
