A three-day clinic kicks off Aug. 20 to help women from all over the state become comfortable in the outdoors.
Presented twice each year, the clinic provides women with the chance to learn basic outdoor skills in a relaxed atmosphere. Instruction is provided in archery, rifle marksmanship, fishing, photography, wildlife identification, emergency first aid, camp cooking, and many other informative sessions.
"Becoming an Outdoors Woman" is presented by the Arizona Wildlife Federation, in cooperation with the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
