Payson Treated Traveling Teens Well

During our free time, my friends and I like to take weekend trips to various places within about a three-hour radius of home. Well, one particular weekend we got into the car without any real idea of where we wanted to go, so we just kind of picked Payson out on a map of Arizona and figured we might as well come visit you.

What a pleasant surprise! I was in complete shock as we came off the Mogollon Rim into Payson. With the desert to the north and south of you, I never dreamed that there would be such a beautiful place in between! And not only was the scenery beautiful and the recreation abundant, but the people of your city were unbelievably friendly and warm. Being only 17 years old, we are often treated with suspicion and apprehension by the people in the communities we visit.

Not so in Payson! The people at the chamber of commerce were very helpful and nice, and even the waitress at the restaurant we ate at was one of the friendliest I've come across!

Thanks so much for making us feel welcome in our visit. I hope the citizens of Payson realize how lucky they are to live in such a wonderful place!
