Early Voting Starts Feb. 4 On Franchise Agreements

March 9 is the date set for the Town of Payson Special Franchise Election being held for the purpose of submitting proposed franchise agreements between the Town of Payson and Arizona Public Service Company and Broken Bow Gas, to a vote of the people.

If you are not already registered to vote, you must do so prior to 5 p.m. on Feb. 8.

Copies of the franchise agreements are available for public review in the Town Clerk's office at Payson Town Hall, 300 N. Beeline Highway.

Requests to vote early are now being accepted through the Town Clerk's Office by submitting a signed or verbal request. Any registered voter living within the town limits may apply to vote an early ballot for any reason.

Deadline to apply to vote early by mail for the special franchise election is 5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26.

Qualified electors may vote early ballots at Payson Town hall, 303 N. Beeline Highway, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Deadline to vote early (at the Town Hall) is 5 p.m., Friday, March 5. Early voting ballots become available as of Feb. 4.

Special provisions will be available to voters experiencing an emergency between 5 p.m. Friday, March 5, and 5 p.m. Monday, March 8.
