Area youths captured honors at the Arizona Cardinals' annual NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick competition hosted by Payson Parks & Recreation Department on Oct. 8 at Payson High School.
These youngsters earned first place honors in their respective age groups:
Girls

These eight winners now will move on to a Sectional Competition, to be held Nov. 13 in Flagstaff. They could qualify for the Team Championship competition, to be held at Sun Devil Stadium in conjunction with the Cardinals vs. Philadelphia Eagles game.
The NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick football competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in punting, passing and placekicking with scores based on distance and accuracy.
A number of current NFL players have competed in Punt, pass & Kick, including record-setting quarterback Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins.
