Having a baby is a life changing experience. It is a time of joy and love, as well as stress and learning.
Payson Regional Medical Center is trying to help make the experience easier with the Tiny Toes Maternity Program, a comprehensive maternity program that guides new parents - month by month - through pregnancy. And to kick off this exciting program for expectant families, Payson Regional Medical Center is having a birthday party! The party, at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 11 at the PRMC Health Outreach Center, honors all families of babies born at PRMC between Aug. 1, 1998 and July 31, 1999.
At the party, all moms will receive an engraved Onieda baby spoon as a token of PRMC's appreciation for choosing to deliver at their community hospital. Party participants will also be eligible for a drawing, to be held during the party, for a $5000 scholarship for one lucky baby!
"We are excited about the Tiny Toes Maternity Program. The addition of this service will allow us to better serve our community and help parents through the often overwhelming experience of pregnancy," said Russell Judd, PRMC CEO. "We felt that having a birthday party was an appropriate way to kick off the program. We are especially pleased that we are able to offer a $5,000 college scholarship during the party. We will continue to offer a $5,000 scholarship each year throughout the program."
All expectant mothers are eligible to join the Tiny Toes Maternity Program. All members receive monthly information newsletters, Tiny Toes take-home kits, access to on-line information about delivering at Payson Regional Medical Center, access to the Tiny Toes Internet Nursery, discounts from area merchants and annual Tiny Toes birthday parties, where a $5,000 college scholarship will be awarded.
