The Payson Art League has provided an art show each spring since 1978 that is as colorful as May flowers.
The Spring 2000 Show and Sale takes place May 5, 6 and 7 at the Tonto Apache Indian Reservation Activity Center.
Forty of the area's best-known artists will be displaying their work.
The mixed-media show opens with a reception for the artists Friday, May 5 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Donations of $5 will be accepted at the door. The Cinco de Mayo reception features music and refreshments. Early sales of the art work will allow those at the artists' opening to get first pick of the work.
Twenty-five artists have donated their artwork for a raffle.
There is no admission charge for the show Saturday and Sunday which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
