Dorothy Marie Reed, 74, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000. She was born June 4, 1926, to Frank and Emma (Sweeny) Isrow in Athol, Mass.
Mrs. Reed was a 25-year resident of Mesa del Caballo, a member of the Payson DAV Auxiliary, a volunteer and a worker in the thrift shop.
She is survived by six sons, Wilbur, Glenn and his wife, Darrel, Robert and his wife, Norma, William and his wife, Becky, Dwight and his wife, Tammy, all of Michigan and Frank and his wife, Sherrie, of Casa Grande, Ariz.; three daughters, Bonny Giovanni and her husband, Robert, of St. Louis, Mo., Betty Atchison and her husband, Kurt, of Titusville, Fla. and Betsy Broadston and her husband, Jeff, of Decatur, Ark.; two sisters, Lidwine "Lindy" Olexa of Centerline, Mich. and Lydia Major of Winchendon, Mass.; four sisters-in-law, Lucy Isrow, Margaret Mossman, Marion Seal and Thelma Staudacher, all of Michigan; 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur "Bill" Reed.
No local services are planned. Mrs. Reed's cremains will be interred with her husband's cremains at the Galien Township Cemetery in Galien, Mich.
