Donald Waldamer Johnson, 68, of Pine died Aug. 21, 2000, in Pine. He was born Dec. 24, 1931, in Ainsworth, Neb. Mr. Johnson was a U.S. Army veteran and a mechanic most of his life. He was a former resident of Mesa, Ariz.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carol Johnson, of Pine; three daughters, Mellody Blakeney and her husband, Milton, of Payson; Joyce Styers and her husband, Steve, of East Dundee, Ill. and Charol Pihlman and her husband, Carl, of Mesa; three sisters, Elsie Fernau of Ainsworth, Neb., Alice Fernau of Parma, Mich. and Doris Bauman of Belton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25 at the Church on Randall Place in Pine with viewing one hour before the service.
