Jody K. Porter of Payson became the bride of Darin Brinkley in a beautiful marriage ceremony per- formed by Pastor Mel Munchinsky of the Payson United Methodist Church. The ceremony was held at 3 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Moose Lodge in Star Valley. The couple wrote their marriage vows. The bride, daughter of Eleanor Hammans of Payson, chose for her wedding an off-white Western-style dress. She was given in marriage by a good friend, LeRoy Wilson. The maid of honor was Melissa K. Porter, daughter of the bride, of Glendale. Bridesmaid was Lori Cross of Payson. The groom is the son of Norma Jean Brinkley of Yuma. His best man was a friend, Dante Tarrante. Candlelighter and guest book hostess was niece of the bride Kristen McFarland. A reception was held following the ceremony. The new Mr. and Mrs. Brinkley are at home in Mesa. Both are employed in the Valley.
