I am writing to thank the community for keeping a small town tradition alive.
The annual Christmas Lighting festival in Swiss Village brings an opportunity for our community to come together.
I have attended this every year since I was a baby. I look back on the memories of Santa fondly.
Even though Payson has changed and will continue to change, I hope this tradition will remain a priority. Living in a small town is something I appreciate. Although there is still violence, we have a very nice wholesome atmosphere. The Christmas lighting event will always be a childhood memory that I, as well as many of my friends, will treasure.
