Mark Ross Sylvester, 34, of Payson, died Dec. 10, 2000, in Payson. He was born April 22, 1966, in Buckeye, Ariz.

Mr. Sylvester was an electrician. He owned Mountain View Electric for five years. He graduated from Payson High School in 1984. During high school he was a football player and a wrestler, and he was a member of the 1983-1984 PHS state championship wrestling team. Mr. Sylvester was a hunter, roper, father and T-ball coach.

Survivors include his wife, Bobette Sylvester, of Payson; one daughter, Bailey Sylvester of Payson; one son, Chandler Sylvester of Payson; mother, Betty Sylvester of Payson; one sister, Sue Hart of Tonopah, Ariz.; half-sister, Pam Sylvester; two brothers, Jay Sylvester of Buckeye, Ariz., and Ken Sylvester of Peoria, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Sylvester, and brother, Michael Sylvester.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 W. Aero Drive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Aero Drive and Ponderosa, with interment at Payson Pioneer Cemetery.
