Naomi Gentry Nielsen Dalton, 99, of Payson, died Dec. 17, 2000, in Payson. She was born May 15, 1901, in Beaver Crossing, Neb.
Mrs. Dalton married Ferdinand C. Nielsen in 1920 and they farmed in eastern Nebraska for 38 years. She was married again in 1984 to Jack Dalton, and was a country school teacher and housewife. She traveled extensively.
Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Hansen and her husband, Harold, of Mesa, Ariz. and Charlotte Ruhl of Payson; three sons, Hubert Nielsen of Brownsville, Texas, Keith Nielsen and his wife, Marlene, of Payson and Lyle Nielsen and his wife, Jessie, of Cottonwood, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; 39 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ferdinand Nielsen and Jack Dalton, an infant daughter; three sisters, Goldie, Gladys and Ruth; and two brothers Alvin and Charles.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Golden, Colo.
Donations may be made the Payson Regional Medical Center in Payson.
