'Why Can't (Elections) Be Like The Old Days?'


"And Bush wins!"

In a dream world ... the president would have been decided just a couple of hours after the polls closed. But now there's no such thing as a dream world. They have to take it to court and get a recount or something to that effect. Now there's three choices they could make: stick with the popular vote, only count each state's votes once, or just pick the president they think is best. Why can't it be like the old days.
