Robert "Bob"Brooks Tapp, 75, of Payson, Ariz. died Dec. 27, 2000 in Payson. He was born to Brooks Brown Tapp and Sarah Ethel Tapp June 2, 1925 in Flaggy Meadow near Mannington, W. Va.

Mr. Tapp was a charter member of the Payson United Methodist Church. He served in World War II with the 103rd Infantry Division in Texas, the 34th Infantry in Italy and the 88th Infantry in the Army of Occupation in Italy. He retired from Salt River Project in 1980, and was also a member of the American Legion Post 69 in Payson.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Eleanor S. Tapp.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31 at the Payson United Methodist Church, 414 N. Easy Street.
