I notice that the Town Council members are working on their "wish list." After going over some of the priorities they listed, I could not understand why the terrible streets in town were not even mentioned. Some of the streets look just like they did before the town was incorporated.
St. Philips and Bentley are the most traveled streets. When I have guests in town, I avoid showing them those streets. I have written letters to the mayor about this situation and have suggested installing a traffic counter just to prove my point.
There are no yellow lines to divide the traffic at night and people walk in the street as there are no sidewalks, making it an accident waiting to happen. You just watch.
Anyone else have any suggestions?
