Once again, just as predicted by the National Rifle Association, another innocent life was taken in one of our country's schools. Had we only heeded the advice of Mr. Heston and armed all of the first-graders in the country after Columbine, justice would have prevailed and only a deserving 6-year-old would have been shot down by his classmates.
Of course, there are those -- probably of communist leanings or at the very least associated with the One World Conspiracy being perpetuated by the United Nations -- who might suggest arming 6-year-olds is contrary to public safety. But if you destroy the constitutional right of first-graders to form a "well regulated militia" as stated in the Second Amendment, what other freedoms will we be forced to surrender?
Where will it all end?
