Last summer, potential Lady Longhorn softball players prepped for the 2000 campaign by participating in an Arizona State University-sponsored camp held in Flagstaff.

Coach Will Dunman has apparently decided this summer to shift allegiances from the Sun Devils to the Wildcats.

The coach, who just completed his first year at the helm of the softball program, is asking his charges to participate in a University of Arizona camp June 11-16 or June 18-23.

Dunman said he would personally escort the girls to the June 18-23 camp but couldn't attend the earlier session due to previous commitments.

The camps will be held on the campus of Emery Riddle college in Prescott.

The cost is $395 which includes all fees, room and board.

Call Dunman at 472-2266 for more information.
