Laura Meyocks is on a golf winning streak that would rival the exploits of Tiger Woods.
Only one week after carding a sizzling 65 to win a Payson Women's Golf Association-sponsored low net tournament, Meyocks returned to the links Thursday and captured the crown of a "Mutt and Jeff" formatted links fray.
In finishing as the A flight gold medalist, Meyocks finished with a tally of 28.5. According to PWGA member Joyce Karnes, the tournament was scored by counting only the par threes and fives and subtracting one-half the player's handicap.
In B flight, Brenda Baker took home the gold with a tally of 33. Other winners were Etta Nichols in C flight and Joan Johnson among the D players. Nichols carded a 31.5 and Johnson a 33.
Dorothy Back was the lone closest-to-the-pin prize winner of the day, shooting 7 feet, 6 inches away from the flag on hole 14.
