Registration for all swimming lessons, swim team, adult lap swim and water aerobics began Monday, May 15 and will continue until May 26, or until classes are full. Weather permitting, Taylor Pool will be available for open swimming Saturday, May 27. Lessons begin June 5; swim team begins June 12.


Last chance to sign up for Youth T-Ball & Girls Softball


We are currently accepting late registration for girls softball on a first-come, first-served basis. The youth softball program is for girls who are ages 8 -15 as of Aug. 1, 2000. The fee is $25 per child for each program. Season begins June 5, 2000. T-ball rosters are full, but we do have a waiting list in case of cancellations. The T-ball program is for boys and girls who are ages 5-7 as of Aug. 1, 2000.


Tennis Lessons

Youth and adults of all abilities are invited to register for summer tennis lessons. The classes will be held each Tuesday and Thursday, June 13 - 29. The beginner youth class will meet from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and intermediate/advanced youth from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Beginner adults will meet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and intermediate/advanced adults from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Registration is $20 per person and begins May 22. Class sizes are limited to 8, so reserve your spot today!


Men's and Women's Softball Leagues

Registration for the Men's and Women's Summer Softball Leagues begins Tuesday, May 30 and will continue through Friday, June 9. Recreation and competitive divisions will be offered as long as a minimum of four teams sign up for each division. The fee is $250 per team (not $275, as previously announced). Games are scheduled to begin in mid- to late-June.


Boys Basketball Camps

Registration is now in progress for these basketball camps. Boys who will be in grades 4 to 6 this fall are invited to attend camp from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., June 12 to 16 at the old PHS gym. Camp for boys who will be in grades 7 and 8 this fall will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., June 19 to 23.
