William Rosebrook

William E. Rosebrook, 85, of Payson, died Nov. 10, 2000, in Payson. He was born Oct. 8, 1915, in Groveton, N.H.

Mr. Rosebrook worked for Phoenix Auto Supply and General GMC during the 1950s and 1960s. Upon moving to Payson in 1969, he worked for Rim Auto Parts until semi-retiring in 1973. In 1979, he went back to work part-time for Barcom's Parts and Equipment for several years.

Mr. Rosebrook served in World War II with the Navy on mine-sweeping operations. He was a Mason and a member of the Lutheran church.

Survivors include one daughter, Lynn Fonteno of El Marage, Ariz.; one son, Alan Rosebrook of Stafford, Va.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Rosebrook, in 1994.

Private graveside services were held Nov. 14 at Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale. Donations may be made to a favorite charity. Arrangements were handled by Mercer Mortuary.
