Jerome "Jerry" Anthony Stotko, 79, of Payson, died Nov. 25, 2000. He was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Waverly, Minn. to Joseph and Anna Fautch Stotko.
Mr. Stotko was a farmer and banker in Waverly, Minn. Banking was his main career, and he was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Banking. He also was active in the Minnesota Independent Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association.
Mr. Stotko and his wife, Laura, purchased a bank in Hampton, Minn. After selling the bank, they retired to Arizona.
Mr. Stotko was a volunteer with the rural fire department in Waverly, Le Center and Stewartville, Minn., and was a member of the Lions Club. He became a knight in the Knights of Columbus when he was 18, and remained active in that club and St. Vincent De Paul.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Kelley Stotko, of Payson; three daughters, Mary, Barbara and Carol; four sons, Paul, Gregory, Douglas and Daniel; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be celebratedat 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at St. Philip's Catholic Church.
