Put on your costume and come over to Trunk-or-Treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at Rumsey Park.
A costume contest begins at 6 p.m. at Ramada 5. Age divisions will be ages 2 and younger, ages 3 through 5, ages 6 through 9 and ages 10 through 12. Prizes will be awarded for the spookiest and most original costumes in each age division.
There will be free candy for all children ages 12 and younger who attend this safe, festive Halloween event in the park. KMOG will provide a live broadcast, and there will be snacks and games available for a nominal fee.
For safety reasons, the circular drive at Rumsey Park will be closed to all traffic from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday. A limited amount of paved parking will be available at North Rumsey Park at the multipurpose field and Taylor Pool. The former site of the rodeo grounds will also be available, but be aware that wet weather may create muddy conditions there.
For more information about the costume contest or Trunk-or-Treat, call Payson Parks & Rec at 474-5242, ext. 7.
