Juanita A. (Nita) Chase, 79, of Payson, died Oct. 26, 2000, at her home in Payson. She was born Jan. 13, 1921, in Chelsea, Okla.
Mrs. Chase and her husband, Cecil, lived in Arizona their entire married life and moved to Payson in 1973, where Mrs. Chase worked at the hospital for several years. The couple enjoyed square dancing for more than 40 years and they bowled on the senior league for 15 years. They also donated several years to coaching junior bowlers.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Cecil, of Payson; one niece, Lynn and her husband, Larry Ayers, of Payson; one brother, William E. Fraziel and his wife, Lola, of Boulder City, Nev.; and three half-sisters, MaryAnn Neumueller, Linda Cutbirth, Debbie Fugatts, and their families, all of Phoenix.
No services are planned at this time.
