Q: There's an "Opening Soon" sign on the Swiss Village Bakery. When is it opening and what is it going to be?

A: New owners David and Rachel Duell recently moved here from Seattle, where they were both involved in the restaurant industry. They hope to have their new enterprise open for business shortly after May 1, but are waiting for new equipment to arrive before setting a firm date. Plans are for a cafffering full breakfast and lunch service, with "a little bakery on the side." The Duells chose the Rim country to launch their venture after Rachel fell in love with Payson when she drove through about 18 months ago.
