Dawn B. Weihermiller, 83, of Payson, died April 6, 2001. She was born Sept. 4, 1917, to George S. and Beatrice T. Carlson in Seattle, Wash.
Mrs. Weihermiller attended Everett schools and graduated from Everett High School in 1935.
After living most of her life in Washington, her affinity for the desert Southwest brought Mrs. Weihermiller and her husband, Wayne, to Payson.
She spent the last 10 years of her life traveling throughout the high country and Sonoran desert, and living in the "dream home" she designed.
And she and her husband drove their Cords and Auburn Speedster on a number of cross-country classic car trips.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Weihermiller, of Payson; two daughters, Nadya D. Fadeff and Nikolette B. Fadeff, both of Everett, Wash.; one son, Justin G. Fadeff of Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Gloria Gay of Lake Stevens, Wash.; five grandchildren, Craig A. Leder, Paul A. Leder, Vanessa, David and Rebecca Fadeff; four great-grandchildren; four step-daughters; two nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Troy A. Leder.
No services are planned.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
