William Alfred Rogers, 68, of Payson, died April 28, 2001. He was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Pennsylvania and had lived in Arizona for the past 30 years.
Mr. Rogers owned Captain Salty's Restaurant from 1983 to 1986, and he was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of Payson, whom he married in 1960 in Natrona Heights, Pa.; seven daughters, Beth Richards, Jill Lamons and her husband, Jake, Jane Nemger and her husband, Ed, Grace Dochnal and her husband, Jason, Diane Rogers, Joyce Evans and her husband, Richard, and Julia Pemberton and her husband, Rick; five sons, Reese Rogers, Steven Rogers and his wife, Shelly, John Pallottini and his wife, Jackie, Karl Rogers and his wife, Karla, and Allen Rogers; two sisters, Betty and Grace; 20 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
No services are planned.
